University alumnus Christopher Lavan, who earned his master’s degreein public administration from LSU’s Public Administration Institute in2008, has been recognized by the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce as oneof Northwest Louisiana’a Top 40 Under 40.
Lavan credited everyone at the Public Administration Institute withhaving a hand in his success.
“Whether it was large or small, everyone has played a part insupporting me, helping me or simply being there for me in my life,”Lavan said in a news release.
Lavan is the youngest minority director at Centenary College ofLouisiana, where he is the director of service learning. He has alsospoken at the Downtown Shreveport Lions Club and attended theLouisiana Association of Student Councils state workshop as a seniorcounselor.
