Walker Police Officer Resigns After Bringing Noose to Work

The officer, who has not been named yet, resigned right before a council meeting was to take place with the department.
The noose was hung in the office in a spot visible to the public.
Officer may find criminal charges against him due to a state law that prohibits having a noose on public property.
Walker police chief was already planning to fire the officer after the incident.
