The Tigers suffered a one run loss Tuesday night to Tulane, falling 7-6. LSU is now 18-8 overall and 4-2 in SEC play.
But junior pitcher Alex Lange was still proud of the Tiger’s performance.
“We had an emotional weekend, a hard fought battle,” Lange said. “I don’t think we played terribly yesterday. I thought it was a really good game and that’s the way baseball goes sometimes. It is what it is and we’re moving on.”
LSU will play Thursday, Friday and Saturday against the Texas A&M Aggies.
