Friday morning, the LSU women’s golf team kicked off the 2017 LSU Tiger Golf Classic. The teams teed off at 8 a.m. to begin the first and second rounds of the classic.
The first 36 holes were rescheduled to Friday morning because of the expected rain on Saturday morning.
LSU hosts 14 teams this weekend including three SEC opponents.
- Arkansas
- Kentucky
- Missouri.
Other teams that make up the tournament are Clemson, Denver, Duke, Kansas, N.C. State, Oklahoma St., SMU, Tulane, UNC Wilmington, UTSA and Washington.
The Lady Tigers have hosted this tournament at the University Club since 2000. The final round of the tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 26.
