The LSU basketball team will open their season up on Friday in the PMAC when they take on Alcorn St, marking the first game in head coach Will Wade’s tenure.
“It’ll be exciting,” Wade said. “We’ve got so much work to do between now and then, and just focused on Alcorn, there’s just not a lot of time… It’ll hit me when we’re out there and we’re playing and i’m on a different sideline.”
Wade previously coached at VCU, where he went 51-20 over two years.
