Coming off a 17-16 win against Florida last week the Tigers have a newly instilled confidence going into the game against Auburn.
Auburn is ranked No. 10 in the country.
“They’re ready to go into battle on Saturday, we know it’s a tough opponent,” Head Coach Ed Orgeron said.
Orgeron knows that Auburn starts their games fast and the Tigers offense has to be ready to run the ball.
“We have to run over offense, they’re very good we’re going to have to execute,” Orgeron said.
Derrius Guice was a little tender going into Florida’s game but come Saturday Orgeron thinks he’ll be ready to go.
“He looks good. He practiced and I think that run last week gave him some confidence,” Orgeron said.
Orgeron knows that the key to beating Auburn is to get good tackles and space out.
A win against Auburn will give LSU the momentum they need to go into their next SEC opponent, Ole Miss, next Saturday.
The Tigers who are fourth in SEC play will face Auburn in Death Valley Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and will be televised on CBS.
