We talked to a couple of students on campus to get another perspective on today’s events.
“I mean, it’s shocking, but I guess there had to be consequences for what happened to that poor boy,” said the first student.
“I care about it, but I’m indifferent about the people who got arrested,” said another.
“I feel that, if anybody was responsible, if anybody saw that this guy is in bad shape, I feel like, to some extent, they should be held accountable. I feel like anyone that had anything to do with it has to be held accountable. I feel sorry for the guy that got a felony because, I know, or I hope at least, that they didn’t mean for it to go that far. But at the same time, someone has to stand up and say something is wrong and that he needed to be taken care of. Basic humanity, you know?,” said the third student.
