Nearly a month after Max Gruver’s death, his suitemates are still reeling from the loss.
Justin Franklin, who lives next door and shared a bathroom with Gruver, was not surprised that hazing was the cause of this tragedy. He believes that this could have been prevented and that Greek life should have been suspended longer.
“Why do kids join Greek life? Why do kids choose to be involved with Greek organizations? It’s obviously not to end up dead,” said Franklin.
