The Southeastern Conference released the 2017-18 women’s college basketball schedule.
The LSU Lady Tigers will open the season at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center for the first time since the 2012-13 season. The team will open conference play against Vanderbilt in the sole SEC game on New Year’s Day.
LSU will travel to Missouri on January 4 before host defending national runner-ups Mississippi State on January 7. The Lady Tigers will then hit the road for games against Alabama on January 11 and Florida on January 14.
They will return home for a matchup against Auburn on the January 18 before heading College Station for a game against Texas A&M on January 22. LSU reach the halfway point six days later with a home game against Tennessee.
The Lady Tigers then play three games in a week. A home game against Georgia on February 1 and then a road stretch against Kentucky on February 4and Auburn on February 8.
LSU will return home for games against Texas A&M on February 11, Ole Miss on February 15 and follow those up with a road game against Arkansas on February 18.
The Lady Tigers will stay on the road by traveling to defending national champion South Carolina on February 22. This will be the third straight year that LSU will play the defending national champion in women’s basketball.
LSU will close the season on senior day against Alabama in the PMAC on February 25.
