LSU senior guard Allison Hightower was named an Associated Press Honorable Mention All-American for the 2009-10 season on Tuesday.
Hightower is the 14th Lady Tiger to receive All-America honors since 2001.
“It’s a tremendous honor to be recognized with some of the great players today,” Hightower said in a news release. “During my time at LSU, I hope I set an example for my teammates to continue to work hard and continue to do well on and off the court.”
Hightower is also a finalist for the State Farm Coaches’ All-America Team, the John R. Wooden Award and the Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award.
