LSU senior guard Allison Hightower continues to bring in postseason honors, even after the Lady Tigers’ season ended.
Hightower was named a finalist for the State Farm Coaches’ All-America team, announced Thursday by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.
Hightower ranked second in scoring in the Southeastern Conference with 18.2 points per game. Her scoring average was the highest by an LSU player since Seimone Augustus’ 22.7 points in 2006.
The Division I State Farm Coaches’ All-America team will be announced in the Alamodome between open practices on April 3.
