The LSU baseball team has been picked to win the Southeastern Conference regular-season championship by the league’s 12 coaches.
LSU beat Florida by one vote, 5-4, in the voting for overall champion. LSU finished four points ahead of Arkansas for first place in the SEC West predictions, while Florida was picked to win the SEC East.
The Tigers shared the regular-season title with Ole Miss last season in addition to winning the SEC tournament.
LSU opens its season Friday when it hosts Centenary at Alex Box Stadium at 7 p.m.
