The delays keep coming for the LSU football team’s spring practices.
LSU coach Les Miles announced Thursday that practice has been moved back several days to Monday. Practice was supposed to start Friday after it had already been pushed back from Thursday to Friday.
Practice has been moved back to give new tight ends coach Steve Ensminger time to join the team.
“We’ve had a great start to our offseason conditioning,” Miles said in a news release. “The players have done an great job of doing what the coaches have asked of them. I like the attitude and the work ethic that this team has displayed so far. I’m looking forward to getting on the practice field with them.”
The spring game is still scheduled for Saturday, March 27.
