Coming off its 43-36 win against Ole Miss, the LSU football team found itself in familiar position in the polls.
The Tigers (10-1. 6-1) stayed at No. 5 in the BCS polls after beating Ole Miss, 43-36, on Saturday.
LSU also remained at the No. 6 spot in the USA Today Coaches Poll but could not hold on to their No. 5 ranking in the Associated Press poll, falling to No. 6.
The Tigers swapped places with Wisconsin. The Badgers now sit above the Tigers at No. 5 in both polls.
The Bowl Championship Series rankings will be released later today.
