Based on the outcome one wouldn’t guess that the LSU offense struggled in the first half of the Louisiana-Monroe game.
LSU captured a 51-0 victory over non-conference opponent ULM Saturday night in Tiger Stadium.
“I can’t remember the last time we had a shutout around here.” said senior linebacker Kelvin Sheppard.
The Tigers notched two defensive touchdowns – a fumble recovery by sophomore defensive end Lavar Edwards and a interception return from junior cornerback Ron Brooks — en route to their first shutout victory since a 42-0 blowout of Tulane last season.
