Jarrett Lee had been there before.
Lee, a redshirt junior quarterback, lofted a 3-yard touchdown pass to senior wide receiver Terrence Toliver to help topple No. 14 Florida 33-29 Saturday night in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
Lee quarterbacked the No. 12 LSU down the field on the Tigers’ final drive, helping to erase memories of LSU’s 51-21 loss just two years ago in Gainesville.
Lee finished 8-of-9 for 94 yards and two touchdowns. Fellow junior quarterback Jordan Jefferson and Lee combined to go 15-of-21 for 194 yards, with two scores and one interception. Jefferson also scored two rushing touchdowns.
Toliver caught five balls for 81 yards and two touchdowns.
