The Manship School Dean Search Committee discussed the 17 remaining applicants Wednesday afternoon.
Among the applicants being considered are Tabatha Cullen of the Early Learning Coalition of Miami-Dade/Monroe, Alice Kendrick of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Ronald Jackson of the University of Illinois, Thomas Terry of Idaho State University, and Kirby Goidel of Louisiana State University.
“[The] goal is to get down to a handful of top candidates,” said Regina Lawrence, committee member and political science and mass communications professor.
The committee will contact the remaining applicants and inform them they are still under consideration.
The next step is to begin conducting video conferences with certain remaining candidates.
The committee will meet again in early November.
