The LSU Board of Supervisors approved contract extensions for track and field coach Dennis Shaver and gymnastics coach D-D Breaux on Friday afternoon.
Shaver’s received a one year extension that will pay him $200,000, while Breaux was extended three years at $138,000 per year. Neither coach’s salary was raised.
Breaux could earn a 5 percent pay increase if her team finishes in the top three at the Southeastern Conference championship meet during the extension.
Shaver took over LSU’s track and field program in 2004, while Breaux has coached the gymnastics team for 33 years.
