Willis Delony has been named the College of Music and Dramatic Arts’ new associate dean and interim director of the School of Music, the University announced in a news release.
Delony takes over for Jane Cassidy, who was recently named vice provost for Academic Affairs.
“I’m looking forward to this daunting yet exciting task,” Delony said in a news release. “I work with such a great collection of educators and musicians. It’s an honor to be their leader, even if only for a short time. I’ve received a lot of support from our strong faculty. I know that with their help, both the School of Music and the College of Music & Dramatic Arts will continue to maintain their goals and move in the right direction.”
