The LSU baseball team has added one last player to its highly-touted 2011 roster.
Jimmy Dykstra, a right-handed pitcher/outfielder, has joined the team and will be eligible for 2011, LSU coach Paul Mainieri announced in a press release Thursday.
Dykstra, a San Diego, Calif., native, played one season for Yavapai Junior College in Arizona before transferring to LSU. He will be classified as a sophomore with three years of eligibility remaining.
At 6-feet 4-inches and 200 pounds, Dykstra was selected in the 50th round of the 2010 MLB Draft by the Colorado Rockies.
