The New Orleans Saints have filled the roster spot vacated by Deuce McAllister with second-year receiver Adrian Arrington, according to The Times-Picayune.
Arrington, who spent the season on the Saints’ practice squad, was elevated to the active roster after Robert Meachem sustained an ankle injury in Saturday’s playoff game against Arizona.
Meachem’s status for Sunday’s NFC Championship Game against Minnesota will be updated later this afternoon, according to the Times-Picayune’s report.
The Saints signed former LSU defensive tackle Marlon Favorite to replace Arrington on the practice squad. Favorite, a rookie, has spent time with four other teams this season.
