The LSU women’s tennis teamed moved up one spot to No. 28 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings released Tuesday afternoon.
The Lady Tigers’ (2-0) move comes after a strong performance Sunday in which they blasted Louisiana-Lafayette and Prairie View A&M, both by scores of 7-0.
No. 4 Georgia was the highest ranked Southeaster Conference team and was one of nine SEC teams to be ranked in the top 30.
LSU returns to action Friday against Auburn for the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Los Angeles.
