Eleven LSU players have received invites to participate in next month’s NFL Combine, the most of any Southeastern Conference school.All 11 invitees are LSU seniors, including defensive end Rahim Alem, defensive tackle Charles Alexander, offensive tackle Ciron Black, linebacker Harry Coleman, cornerback Chris Hawkins, running back Trindon Holliday, wide receiver Brandon LaFell, linebacker Perry Riley, running back Charles Scott, running back Keiland Williams and defensive tackle Al Woods.Invites will not be issued to juniors until after Friday’s deadline for underclassmen to declare for the draft. Should LSU junior safety Chad Jones remain in the draft, he too will receive an invite, said LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette.This is the second-straight year LSU has sent 10 or more players to the Combine. The Tigers received eight invites after their 2007 national championship season.All 12 SEC schools will send at least one player to the Combine this year.
