The LSU men’s tennis team has been picked to finish second in the Southeastern Conference Western Division this season, the LSU Athletic Department announced Friday in a news release.
LSU, who compiled a 11-12 record last season, finished 18 points behind Ole Miss in the SEC West, 68-50, in the SEC coaches preseason poll. Tennessee was picked to win the SEC East with 69 points, while Florida and Georgia finished tied for second with 55 votes.
LSU begins its spring season on Jan. 29 against Louisville in the ITA Kick-Off Weekend in Tallahassee, Fla.
