The LSU Tigers (19-4, 9-1 SEC) moved back up to No. 19 in the AP Top 25 poll in Week 15, which is the same ranking they held two weeks ago.
The Tigers went 2-0 last week, getting a tough road victory on Wednesday at Mississippi State 92-88, with freshman forward Naz Reid and sophomore guard Tremont Waters combining for 55 points.
LSU followed up that performance with a gritty 83-78 victory over Auburn at home on Saturday in front of a packed PMAC. The Tigers only shot 38% from the field, but dominated the offensive glass and racked up 29 second chance points to overcome 16 Auburn three-pointers.
The Tigers now face perhaps their most daunting task of the season; going on the road to Lexington to take on rival No. 5 Kentucky on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 6 p.m.
