Former LSU football player Drake Davis, the suspect in a second degree battery case, has been arrested for violating the parameters of a protective order, according to an affidavit from East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
On Jan. 17, LSUPD was notified that Davis was still in contact with the victim of the second degree battery case.
According to a witness in the affidavit, Davis began contacting the victim on Nov. 15, 2018 through a social media account. He then called the victim, using an app on his phone to make it seem like he had a different phone number.
Davis has continued to contact the victim through various social media platforms. Detectives were provided screenshots of Davis communicating with both the victim and a witness.
Davis was first arrested on Aug. 17, 2018. The victim alleged that Davis became violent during multiple arguments through the relationship, dating back to April 2017. Those allegations include Davis punching the victim in the stomach and grabbing her by the throat.
