LSU defensive lineman Rashard Lawrence will not declare for the 2019 NFL Draft and is staying in Baton Rouge for his senior season, he announced via Twitter on Friday night.
The 6-foot-3, 319-pound starting defensive end totaled 54 tackles and four sacks in 13 games played his junior season.
With Lawrence’s announcement, LSU will now return two of its starting defensive line along with nose tackle Breiden Fehoko . Glen Logan, a redshirt sophomore, started in 13 games for LSU in 2018 and has not yet announced his decision.
Outside linebacker Michael Divinity has already announced his decision to stay at LSU.
Fehoko urged Lawrence to return in his own announcement.
“P.S [Rashard Lawrence] we got unfinished business,” Fehoko wrote.
LSU is still waiting for a final announcement from All-American inside linebacker Devin White.
