New Orleans mayor LaToya Cantrell issued a city wide order for all residents to stay in their homes in light of the number of COVID-19 cases in the city.
As of 4:30 p.m. on March 20, Orleans Parish has 299 coronavirus cases.
Cantrell announced the order at a conference this afternoon. All residents are now asked to stay home except for critical needs.
