Last Thursday, LSU Gymnastics Head Coach Jay Clark revealed that Ashleigh Gnat, a 2017 NCAA Floor Champion and 17-time All-American, would make her return to Baton Rouge to fill in the role as an assistant coach alongside Bob Moore.
Gnat has not only had an impressive career as an athlete but as a coach as well. The Nittany Lions achieved a season-best score of 49.375 as well as totaling a 49.045 National Qualifying Score on floor during her time at Penn State in 2019.
Clark is confident that Gnat’s addition to the team is the next step to winning a National Championship.
“As an athlete, she (Breaux) instilled in me a passion for this community and LSU,” Gnat added. “I am honored and excited that Jay has trusted me to continue building on the foundation that D-D poured her life’s work into.”
