BATON ROUGE- Baton Rouge Police chief says he will release additional videos and audio tapes from the Alton Sterling shooting during a news conference at 5 p.m.
Following the attorney general’s announcement on Tuesday, BRPD Chief Murphy Paul announced that he was launching an internal investigation into the death of Alton Sterling to determine whether the two officers involved would receive any disciplinary action.
When Murphy concludes his internal investigation, the police chief said he would release a statement on his findings alongside audio from the 911 phone call the night Sterling was killed and additional video not released to the public .
