LSU’s basketball season is coming to a close, and senior Tiger’s took interviews today. Senior Forward Aaron Epps was among them, and he says he wishes he had another year to play with the team. “Oh yeah, definitely. That would be really fun.
Nonetheless, Epps is playing in his final two regular season games as an LSU Tiger, and he is happy to see the program improving. “I’ve put tons of work in here and to see the program turn around like this is really, really, great.”
Epps’s relationship with LSU Head Coach Will Wade is also a high point of the Tiger’s career. “That’s my guy. It’s big when a coach has lots and lots of confidence in you so that just makes you want to play that much harder for him. That’s my guy.”
Lastly, Epps also feels Coach Wade’s energy is his most attractive trait. “He likes to scream a lot, you know, run around. Energy, I definitely feel like we feed off that energy.”
LSU’s last game is Saturday, March 3rd, against Mississippi State.
“I want to leave here knowing that I left the program in great hands,” Aaron Epps on senior year
