Coming off a weekend with two wins above 198, Coach D-D Breaux was happy to be back in the PMAC for Sunday’s Pink & Blue meet against Texas Woman’s.
The Tigers dominated with a 198.175-194.200 despite having powerhouses Myia Hambrick and Sarah Finnegan on the backburner.
Standouts of the night included sophomore Kennedi Edney on all-around, junior Lexie Priessman on bars and floor and sophomore Ruby Harrold.
“It’s just been great today and Friday just to be back out there doing the gymnastics I know I can do,” said Harrold, who scored nothing below a 9.85 on her three events.
Edney was alone in the all-around and finished with a score of 39.625 with a great performance on floor with a 9.95.
Priessman made her debut as the floor anchor and earned a 9.95, saying, “it was definitely very special, I knew they put me there for a reason.”
Next week the Tigers will travel to Athens to compete against the Georgia Bulldogs. They will be back in the PMAC on March 4 against Auburn.
