The Tigers (9-2, 5-2 Southeastern Conference) were assisted by then-No. 7 West Virginia, who fell 45-41 to Oklahoma State Saturday night.
LSU also rose to No. 8 in the USA Today Coaches Poll
LSU will travel to College Station to face Texas A&M in the season finale on Saturday, Nov. 24.
