Platinum recording artist and two-time Grammy-nominee, Lauren Daigle, visited her alma mater for one of the biggest games of the year, the LSU vs. Alabama match-up. Daigle studied Child and Family Studies at LSU before her career as a Christian singer and songwriter took off. 
“When I was in high school I was like, ‘whatever it takes to sing I’m all about it but not a Christian singer,’ and the first door that opened was Christian music. And I was like, ‘alright, God, if this is what you’re telling me what to do, like, I’ll try it out,” Daigle says. 
Since then Daigle has been nominated for three Billboard Music Awards, three American Music Awards, 16 GMA Dove Awards and two Grammy Awards. Out of those 24 nominations, she has won 11. 
“It ended up being one of the most beautiful rides I’ve ever been on,” says Daigle, on her journey as a Christian artist.
