Senior kicker Cole Tracy and sophomore safety Grant Delpit were named the Southeastern Conference Players of the Week following LSU’s 19-3 win over Mississippi State.
This is Tracy’s fourth time being named Specialist of the Week in eight games. He was a perfect 4-for-4 on field goals and 1-for-1 on extra points.
Tracy leads the country in made field goals with 21 on the season. He is also the first player to kick nine field goals in a two game span after connecting for five last week against Georgia.
Delpit was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Week as he continues to prove he is the best safety in the country. He led the Tigers with 10 tackles against the Bulldogs, but also totaled a sack and two interceptions.
LSU (7-1, 4-12 SEC) now goes into its bye week before a Nov. 3 matchup with No. 1 Alabama.
