Could there be a change to normal game day attire?
That might be the case for many fans who want to show support for Devin White with a proposed “Whiteout.”
On Saturday, LSU star linebacker Devin White was ejected for a controversial targeting penalty when sacking the Mississippi State quarterback.
As a result, LSU will be without White for the first half of the highly anticipated game against Alabama on November 3rd. Many fans are mad about this and have proposed the “whiteout” against the tide in honor of Devin White.
This would mean that fans leave their traditional purple and gold attire at home and wear all white to the game.
“I think it’s great that fans want to show support for Devin White. I think the penalty was unfair, so I’ll be wearing white to the game next weekend. It would be really cool to see the whole stadium in all white,” said student Ella Blossman.
While LSU has not confirmed the “whiteout,” fans are saying on social media they are going to show their support for Devin White regardless.
