LSU banned all tobacco products from campus a few years ago. A rule that many students are disobeying with the rise of Juuls and other smokeless-tobacco products. 
Juuls are vape pens with a small stature and sleek look. They are most commonly found in the age range of high school through college. 
The University of Michigan conducted a national study of adolescent health and reported a consecutive decrease in cigarette and tobacco usage, but an increase in e-cigarette and vaporizer usage. 
Locally, many Greek organizations and student clubs on LSU’s campus are banning these products for their members in hopes of decreasing the trend’s appearance on campus. 
However, that does not seem to be effective. The company sold one million products last year and increased dramatically to 20 million in 2018.
