Former LSU receiver Drake Davis, who has already been arrested on two counts of second degree battery, now faces two counts of pornography involving juveniles, according to an affidavit from East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
Davis is currently being held in jail without bond following an Sept. 16 arrest for domestic violence.
In order to obtain more evidence on the case, Davis’ phone was seized in a search warrant and sent to the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office. After forensic digital analysis, LSUPD detectives found two text messages on Davis’ cell phone involving child pornography.
The first text was received on May 22, 2017. The nine-second video shows an “African-American juvenile, possibly under the age of 10 years old, masturbating in a bathtub.” The message was “read” by Davis the following day.
Another video found on the cell phone was of a Caucasian male, possibly under the age of 5. The video shows the individual with ”penis exposed and is hitting it with the blades of a desk fan.”
Neither video was deleted from Davis’ phone.
*Editor’s Note: A previous version of this story stated Davis was charged with child pornography. It has been updated to reflect he is facing these charges and has not yet been officially charged.
