As Tropical Storm Gordon approaches, the National Weather Service has canceled the tropical storm warning for several parishes throughout Louisiana, including Baton Rouge. 
A Flash Flood Watch will still be in effect for Southeast Louisiana and SouthWest Mississippi until Wednesday. 
Many schools such as Southeastern Louisiana University have canceled classes for Wednesday, and LSU has postponed Campus Safety Day in lieu of the upcoming storm.
LSU has yet to announce any class cancellations. 
Tropical Storm Gordon is expected to make landfall along the coast of Mississippi Tuesday night, shortly after attaining Category 1 hurricane status.
