Former LSU football player, Drake Davis, will be released on bond following the first of two hearings this morning.
The decision comes after the judge placed stipulations on his release.
The second hearing resulted in a bond set on each of the 5 counts with which Davis was charged to equal $25,000.
Davis must follow the following rules:
- Must reside 50 miles away from LSU
- Under house arrest with curfew
- Monitored by criminal justice services
- No contact with victim, his ex-girlfriend.
- No “smart communications” or internet access
- Must have a GPS monitor
- No pornographic material
Davis must also partake in a mental health evaluation within 7 days, and he is required to remain drug and alcohol free.
The second judge also placed his bond for the 2 charges related to the charges involving juvenile pornography at $7,500 each. This adds up to $15,000 more in bond charges.
All of the bond charges together equal $40,000.
