The LSU Tigers began their home SEC season against No. 9 Auburn and ended in a draw after two overtime periods.
Thursday marked the first home game for the Tigers both against a conference opponent and a ranked opponent. It ended in a shutout, marking senior Caroline Brockmeier’s 21st in her career. Brockmeier also had a season-best eleven saves.
On Tuesday the Tigers travel to play Florida and are back in Baton Rouge on Sept. 27, when they will play Alabama and are encouraging fans to show out in an attempt to beat the all-time attendance record for the LSU Soccer Stadium.
