LSU Head Coach Nikki Fargas discussed the importance of the Lady Tigers 70-59 win over No. 10 Tennessee.
“Good win,” Fargas said. “Hard-fought game. Really thought the team settled in late second quarter. Players made big plays for us.”
Junior guard Chloe Jackson, senior guard Raigyne Louis, and sophomore forward Ayana Mitchell also all sat down to discuss the upset and what it means to the team.
This win marks the 900th win in program history.
LSU will host Georgia this Thursday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m.
