Senior Myia Hambrick says she does not check individual rankings or ask the judges about what they do not score well on.
Following the Tigers appearance at the Metroplex Challenge, both Hambrick’s teammate Sarah Finnegan and Coach D-D Breaux said they thought she deserved a perfect 10 on her last floor routine.
The recent SEC Gymnast of the Week also says she has not changed her mindset since she moved from the number two spot to the anchor spot in the LSU floor lineup.
Last Friday the tigers lost to UCLA 197.625 to 197.375, but will take on No. 6-ranked Kentucky this Friday, February 2nd.
Hambrick says the LSU ladies “have some fine-tuning to do, and while we have been consistent…we need to just perfect a few things here and there and make that the new consistency…the new bar.”
