Cole Tracy accepted an invitation to play in the Reese’s Senior Bowl, the senior kicker announced Wednesday evening.
Tracy joins senior tight end Foster Moreau on the Senior Bowl roster.
Tracy is a Division II transfer from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts. His addition has vastly improved LSU’s special teams unit, making the second most field goals in the nation at 25.
One of three finalists for the Lou Groza Award, Tracy was 25-of-29 on field goals for a long of 54 yards in LSU’s win over Miami. He was also a perfect 38-of-38 of extra points. In LSU’s 36-16 win over Georgia, Tracy tied the program record of five field goals in a game.
