Matthew McConaughey performs the role of a life time as Mickey Haller, a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney who hustles his law practice from the back of his Lincoln Town Car. Haller’s career gets a facelift when he defends Beverly Hills playboy Louis Roulet (Ryan Phillippe), who is accused of rape and attempted murder, but turns sour as the lines of truth blur. Based on the best-selling novel by Michael Connelly, “The Lincoln Lawyer” takes audiences through plot twists that test Haller’s morality and may even threaten his life.
