LSU freshman quarterback Barrett Bailey has left the football team, sports information director Michael Bonnette confirmed today.
Bonnette said Bailey informed Coach Les Miles that he preferred to be a regular student and will not transfer to another school to play football.
“I enjoyed my time with the team,” Bailey said. “It was a great experience and I don’t regret it for anything.”
