LONDON (AP) — The speaker of Britain’s House of Commons says a pie attack on media mogul Rupert Murdoch at a parliamentary committee hearing could lead to permanent security changes.
An activist launched a shaving foam pie at Murdoch, 80, inside the Houses of Parliament in July as Murdoch testified about Britain’s tabloid phone hacking scandal.
Visitors in the future may face new restrictions during high profile events, including restrictions on the type of items they can bring into Parliament.
