After dropping back-to-back home matches for the first time since 2004 last weekend, LSU volleyball recovered tonight with a win at South Carolina.
The Tigers (11-5, 4-2 Southeastern Conference) won 3-2 over the Gamecocks (9-7, 0-6 SEC) with a strong performance from senior middle blocker Michele Williams.
Williams put up 18 kills, while sophomore middle blocker Desiree Elliott added 17 of her own and junior outside hitter Madie Jones added 15.
LSU will stay on the road Sunday as it faces No. 13 Florida.
