Grade: B
Audiences will find themselves smiling throughout the crowd-pleasing “Our Idiot man.” Ned is passed along from sister’s house to sister’s house, bringing to light all the buried dysfunction in their lives. Though “Our Idiot Brother” lacks any real substance, the film makes up for it in heart. Ned is not really an idiot, he’s just blindly trusting. The film is not a slapstick comedy, but its small quips are entertaining throughout. It’s a sweet and simple film. No more and no less.
