LGBTQ organization, and the Office of Multicultural Affairs LGBTQ Project partnered Thursday to host the annual Rainbow Rush resource fair — with a twist.
This year, the event included a mixer with a DJ in order for students to connect with each other.
LGBTQ Project Coordinator Bruce Parker said the event is designed to serve as a chance for LGBTQ students at the University to connect with resources available on campus.
“The number of resources invited has grown over the past three years,” Parker said. “This year we doubled the number we support.”
Parker said he hopes students will connect with the resources and other students at the event.
“It is about helping students feel like they are a part of the LGBTQ community here,” Parker said.
